CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

Thank you for viewing and supporting my 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy prior to booking a session. 

 

Our appointments are very important to me. They are reserved especially for you. I understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore, I respectfully request at least 24-hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. 

 

Please understand that when you forget, cancel, or change your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on my waitlist miss the opportunity to receive services. Or I could be spending time with family and friends or use this time for other important activities. Out of respect to our valuable time, I have a 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  • Full credit towards future sessions will be offered in case of cancellation prior to 24 hours of the appointment.

  • No refunds will be made and no credit will be offered for any appointment missed, not canceled, or not changed without 24-hour notice.

Email reminder:

As a courtesy, your appointments are confirmed electronically 2 days before your scheduled appointment by email from my online appointment scheduling software because I understand how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked weeks ago. From this confirmation email, you have the option of the following without a charge:

  • Reschedule/change/modify our session up to 24 hours before our appointment

  • Cancel our session up to 24 hours before our appointment

Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to prevent any missed appointments. Not receiving an electronic notification of your appointments from the scheduling software the day before is not sufficient reason to miss an appointment if the original confirmation notification was received timely. A link to automatically upload the appointment to your calendar is provided on every electronic confirmation.

 

Late arrival:

Any late arrival will shorten your appointment time and will not be made up by running into the next client’s scheduled appointment. 

 

Exceptional circumstances:

It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any of our control, such as an unfortunate incident, or weather that requires you or me to have to cancel or be closed during regular business hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment and no discount or charges will apply.
